Kelly Guberman is a dedicated and passionate dance artist originally from Farmington, Connecticut. She is currently based in Long Island, New York, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance at Hofstra University. Kelly is on track to graduate in May 2026 and plans to transition into full-time professional work in New York City upon completion of her degree.

Throughout her training, Kelly has developed a strong technical foundation in a variety of dance styles including modern, ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and tap. Her versatility and commitment to her craft have been evident in both her performance and choreographic work.

While at Hofstra, Kelly has had the opportunity to perform in numerous faculty and guest artist works. She has collaborated with esteemed Hofstra faculty members Heather Waldon, Rachel List, Amy Marshall, and Robin Becker. Additionally, she has performed in pieces choreographed by respected guest artists such as William Isaac, Ian DaSylva, and Curt Haworth, further broadening her artistic experience and perspective.

In addition to performing, Kelly is an emerging choreographer. She has created original works in the genres of contemporary, modern, and jazz, which have been showcased in on-campus performances as well as at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference. Her choreography reflects a thoughtful and expressive approach to movement, often grounded in personal narrative and musicality.

Kelly continues to pursue opportunities that allow her to grow as both a performer and creator. She is passionate about contributing to the dance community through performance, collaboration, and innovative choreography.
